Happy Surprise

Everyone has a routine in the morning.  My routine involves making a cup of tea and grabbing a breakfast bar (first breakfast) while I read blogs with google reader (side note: if you read more than a couple of blogs, you should check out google reader... it's easer than navigating from website to website).   Usually when i'm done, I have second breakfast and get ready for work.

Yes, I eat two breakfasts.  Otherwise i'm hungry again by 10... and that's just no way to live.

This morning The Pioneer Woman threw off my routine.  Ree holds photo contests (among other things) through flickr on a regular basis.  This week the photo challenge is 'brothers.'

You can submit pictures for the photography challenge through her flickr group.  I did not submit a picture of my own brother (sorry bro!).  However, I did submit a picture of two very sweet brothers from one of very first photo sessions back in 2009.  

Those two boys are very cute.  Cute enough to get featured in group 3!  Very, very cool.

So, although I have won absolutely nothing (except fame in my own household) and i'm pretty sure it won't make the final cut (because have you seen some of the other photos???  Incredible.), i've had a pretty outstanding day because of it.
